1910's Rolex Ladies Vintage Art Deco Watch - 9K Rose Gold

Rolex

Item No. 5764

While busy developing their Oyster case, Rolex also crafted lady's pieces to meet the needs of their wealthy female clients. The fine wristwatch featured in this offering is an example of one of these very early Lady Rolex timepieces.

The centerpiece of the watch is its beautiful original porcelain dial with black Roman numerals and distinctive red 12 and gold outer track with small diamond shaped markers. Powering this gem is a fine, early Rolex "Rebberg" timekeeping mechanism housed in its original 9K gold Rolex case.

As sone of the world's first wristwatches, the wonderful transitional watches showcase their pocket watch heritage with their enamel dials, spade hands, and onion style winding crowns. Born before the days of constant brand focused marketing, these very early pieces are often not outwardly signed Rolex - they are only signed on the case and movement.

Its solid gold case, lightly tinted rose in color, is in very good condition; the striking dial is also in very good condition with one hairline visible; and its Rolex movement is very clean.

Our watchmaker has freshly cleaned and oiled the movement.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
