1915's Patek Philippe Tiffany & Co. Vintage Art Nouveau Ladies Watch - 18K Gold

Patek Philippe

Item No. 10369

In the 1910's, no name better captured the idea of embracing the best life had to offer than that of Tiffany & Co. One of the company's select offerings was a line of watches emblazoned with the Tiffany & Co. name on the dial. Although the maker's name were often hidden, the retailer contracted with the world's finest watch and jewelry making firms to produce these treasured timepieces.

Today these special watches are sought-after by women of distinction, Hollywood actresses, and any lady desiring to wear a world-class timepiece.

This is a watch that delivers on many levels and ticks many meaningful boxes: the rarity collectors seek, the combined prestige of Tiffany & Co. and Patek Philippe, and the way it captures the spirit of Art Nouveau in miniature form.

At the turn of the twentieth century, Art Nouveau sought to dissolve the rigid lines of the Victorian era, replacing them with organic curves, flowing asymmetry, and a celebration of nature’s gentle rhythms. This watch is a beautiful expression of that philosophy.

Its softly swelling, almost pebble-like case feels sculpted rather than manufactured - more akin to a piece of wearable gold art than a traditional timekeeper. There is no harsh geometry here. Every contour flows into the next, creating an object that feels alive in the hand.

The warm gold dial, harmonizing with the case, carries elegant Arabic numerals that arc gracefully around the perimeter, echoing the movement and fluidity of the era. The blued steel hands add a quiet contrast - refined, restrained, and unmistakably Patek. And then there is the crown, adorned with a vivid cabochon, a small yet deliberate jewel-like flourish that elevates the watch from toward objet d’art.

To find a Patek Philippe of this period is special. To find one retailed and signed by Tiffany & Co. - one of the most storied partnerships in horology - places it in rarified air. Tiffany’s name on the dial signifies more than a retailer; it represents a time when the world’s elite sought out only the very finest creations, when such a watch would have been sold across polished glass counters to captains of industry, tastemakers, and patrons of the arts.

For the case Tiffany & co. enlisted the help of the one of the best American case manufacturers of the day, Cresarrow of New York. Founded by Henry Blank in the late nineteenth century, Cresarrow contracted with Patek, Vacheron & Constantin, Tiffany, Cartier, IWC and also a few lesser known houses to build some of the beautiful examples of their early wristwatch cases.

This very special watch has all of its original parts down to its beautiful blue steel "Breguet moon" hands.

It is in pleasing condition.

Its gold Tiffany & Co. dial is original and untouched in beautiful condition. Original dials of this condition are seldom seen on a more than century old Patek. Its beautifully engraved case is near mint with light wear to the case back and signs of previous polishing. We have also timed it on a machine that simulates it being worn on the wrist. It is keeping very accurate time.

One of our Master Watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it and installed new cabochon on the crown. It is in amazingly clean condition.

For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new Hirsch strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Worn today, it does not shout. It whispers. It sits elegantly on the wrist, its proportions refined, its presence intimate. It is a watch that feels discovered rather than acquired - like uncovering a small, golden artifact from a more romantic age.

This Tiffany Patek is a sculptural relic of Art Nouveau - a reminder that timekeeping, at its highest level, has always been about beauty as much as precision.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
