1930's Patek Philippe Long Vintage Mens Rectangular Art Deco Watch - 18K Gold

Patek Philippe

Item No. 9503SHR

We are proud to offer the timelessly classic and long Art Deco Patek Philippe wristwatch showcased in today's offering. It features an elegant 43mm long case that features a slight curve and wonderful silver dial with early Patek signature.

Because of its size the special large rectangular was made with a slightly curved back so that it conforms a bit to the wrist. Its wonderful, thin sculpted case has a very slender appearance on the wrist. It slides nicely under a shirt cuff, and doesn't draw a lot of attention to itself.

It is powered by its original illustrious Patek Philippe 9'90 movement, so well designed that Patek used it for more than 40 years. The 9'90 is a tonneau shaped movement introduced in 1934 and was fitted into many famous Patek Philippe watches such as the "Banana" (ref. 2442), the "Eiffel Tower " (ref. 2441), the "Top Hat" (ref. 1450), and the "Pagoda" (ref. 1588), which we happen to have in stock right now as of this writing.

Extremely high grade, it has eight adjustments - five for chronometer positions and three for heat, cold, and even isochronism. Isochronism is the amount of wind left in the movement. Most watches slow down slightly as their power reserve moves toward empty. That is not the case with this watch - it is very high-grade.

Its original, long 18K gold is in excellent condition with fairly light signs of previous polishing and the back has very light rippling and light remnants of wear. Its dial was partially very well previously refinished in vintage times. Its raised original enamel detail is still intact.

One of our Master Watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and serviced it.

For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new Java lizard strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year international warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.

Please inquire if you would like us to obtain an Extract from the Patek Philippe archives for you. Patek charges 500CHF to provide one.
