1943 Jaeger-LeCoultre Vintage Mens Art Deco Dress Watch - 14K Gold

Jaeger-LeCoultre

Item No. 7033

Long ago Jaeger-LeCoultre built their reputation as masters of watch design with iconic models like the Reverso. The company continued to carry on the tradition with watches like this one.

The beautiful Jaeger-LeCoultre wristwatch featured in today's offering showcases a wonderful late Art Deco design. From the uncommon and dramatic, 18K rose gold case with beautiful sculpted hooded lugs, to the striking, two-tone Art Deco and high-grade Jaeger-LeCoultre movement, this watch showcases the style and quality associated with the "Grande Maison."

It is a World War II era watch made for the U.S. market.

It is fully LeCoultre - the only replacement part is the winding crown.

It's very honest - its original signed LeCoultre case is in better than near mint condition and does not appear to have ever been polished. Its dial is original, in excellent condition, and has warmed to a sepia tone, giving it a true vintage look. Please inquire if you would like an expert restoration.

After more than 55 years, its very fine handwound Jaeger-LeCoultre movement is running strong and true.

One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it and installed a new-old-stock crystal.

For the finishing touch we have installed a brand new high quality crocodile strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

Jaeger-LeCoultre
At the beginning of modern watchmaking is Jaeger-LeCoultre, the esteemed watch firm created and built by Antoine LeCoultre, whose tireless commitment to quality and innovation launched the advancement of fine timepieces as we know them. As a true 'manufacture' of timepieces, Jaeger-LeCoultre helps set the standard for luxury watchmaking.

The company's workmanship is so respected that other esteemed Swiss watchmakers such as Patek Philippe and of the world's top watch firms used Jaeger-LeCoultre movements to power their pieces.
