All of the back and underside of the watch still retain their original factory applied finish - satin for the back and a blasted finish between the lugs. Only the top and sides show any signs of ever having been lightly polished. The case is in really fantastic condition.

Its dial is to die for - it is original and untouched, in mint condition with only the tiniest bit of aging and toning.

One of our Master Watchmakers, who used to be the watchmaker for an authorized Rolex dealer and was given special training by Rolex at their Beverly Hills Service Center to be an authorized Rolex watchmaker, has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any overly worn components with genuine Rolex parts including installing a new mainspring and ratchet wheel, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and extensive timing testing and regulation (a $995 value).
