1950 Jaeger-LeCoultre Vintage Mens Handwound Watch - 18K Rose Gold

Jaeger-LeCoultre

Item No. 6649

Today's offering showcases this beautiful and classic gents Jeager-LeCoultre in 18K rose gold.

At 34mm in diameter not including the crown it is the size of a Rolex Datejust. Our photos just couldn't do it justice.

It full size 18K rose gold case is may be an original contract case for the South American marker or may be custom made in vintage times.

It elegant silver dial complements the case elegantly, and we love the presentation of its original rose gold epee hands and counterweighted blue steel seconds.

Powering the watch is its very high quality Jeager-LeCoultre P478/C handwound movement, the base movement used in the iconic Mark XI and Chronomètre Geophysique watches.

Its classic sliver dial is bright and clean restored in vintage times. The signature appears much stronger than the photos suggest - it is a clear and dark as it should be. And its high-grade LeCoultre movement is running strong and true.

One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it. For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new Teju strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
