1950 Omega Vintage Mens 30T2 Based Dress Watch - 14K Solid Gold

Omega

Item No. 6528

Today's offering showcases this beautiful vintage Omega dress watch made for the company's mid-century International Collection.

Unlike most 14K Omega watches made for the U.S. market and cased in contract Omega cases made by U.S. suppliers, this is a true all-Swiss Omega creation, as its especially elegant case suggests.

Powering the watch is Omega's caliber 265 movement. It is in the famous 30T2 family whose reputation for reliability and accurate timekeeping landed it a role serving the critical timing needs of the world's Armed Forces during World War II. As time progressed Omega upgraded the original 30T2s with additions like a shock protection system and other modifications - as is the case with this watch.

It is fully Omega and in pleasing condition. Its elegant original Omega Swiss made 9K case is in excellent condition. Its silver dial with rose gold toned markers presents as excellent condition as well. And its caliber 265 movement is very clean.

One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it making it ready for immediate enjoyment. We have also installed a brand new crystal of a style to show as much of the dial as possible.

For the finishing touch we have installed a new crocodile strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
