Powering it is its renowned Caliber 1030 "perpetual" automatic movement with butterfly rotor used in a few early Explorer and Submariner models, as well as Oyster Perpertuals. It was officially certified as a chronometer.

Its case is in excellent condition with only light signs of previous polishing. Its gorgeous bezel has never been polished - it retains perfectly crisp fluting.

Its original dial is in excellent condition. It is clean with only light aging. The luminous has normal toning and has mostly been removed.
