1950's Ulysse Nardin Vintage Mens Full Size Watch - Stainless Steel

Ulysse Nardin

Item No. 7447

Today's offering showcases this full size and elegant mens Ulysse Nardin. It has an classically shaped case and timeless silver dial.

Measuring 35.4mm in diameter without the crown by 42mm long, larger than a Rolex Date and only a half a millimeter smaller than a Datejust. Powering it is its original well-made Ulysse Nardin handwound movement. Unlike most of the Ulysse Nardins here in the States which were made for the U.S. market, this is a true all Swiss creation.

It presents in true expertly restored condition. It has fully UN parts down to all the hands and the signed crown.

The case presents as just short of mint. The dial has been meticulously refinished - the printing could pass as UN factory done to the naked eye.

A Master Watchmaker has fully freshly serviced it. It is running strong and true, keeping chronometer or near chronometer grade time in all five testing positions.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new Italian leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A classic six decade old Ulysse Nardin that presents on the wrist almost like new!

Ulysse Nardin:
Ulysse Nardin is best known by many collectors for creating chronometers, extremely accurate time keeping instruments. Their marine chronometer used by ship's captains to plot and follow the correct course while at sea. By employing sextants and chronometers, a captain could track the changes in his course over time and determine the exact location of his ship, and Nardin's marine chronometers were among the most reliable and sought after.
