1958 Omega Seamaster Mens Vintage Automatic Watch - 18K Gold Plated & Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 8097

Today's offering showcases this classic and meticulously restored c. 1958 Omega Seamaster.

It has a classically styled case with faceted lugs. It has a so-called "tropical" or "hypoallergenic" construction with 18K gold plated top and stainless steel top. And timelessly elegant silver dial with gold vintage styled markers.

About one to two millimeters smaller than most vintage Seamasters it is well-suited for a man who doesn't have a large wrist.

Powering the watch is its caliber 471 movement, the same movement that powered the holy grail Seamaster Melbourne Olympic XVI, one of which we currently have for sale as of this writing.

It is fully Omega and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. On the wrist it presents as gorgeous mint. Our photos couldn't do it justice.

Its original Omega dial has just been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

A Master Watchmaker has freshly overhauled the movement, which is very clean and keeping time.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new calfskin strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A more than six decade old Omega that looks like new on the wrist!

The Seamaster:
Omega is perhaps best known by watch connoisseurs for its Seamaster line of dive watches. Introduced in 1948, they have been embraced by water sports enthusiasts and often marry a striking look with a high performance movement.

According to Omega, "OMEGA’s sporty Seamaster collection is a tribute to the brand’s maritime legacy. This exquisite example of our renowned watchmaking pays homage to OMEGA’s dive watch heritage and our adventurous pioneering spirit."
