1959 Rolex Oyster Perpetual Uncommon Vintage Mens Ref. 5552 Watch with Tropical Dial - Stainless Steel

Rolex

Item No. 6479H

Today's offering showcases this uncommon and original Rolex Oyster Perpetual model #6564 encased in stainless steel. The very cool gilt letter dial is slightly "tropical," transitioning from black to very dark brown. The dial is slightly more brown than the photos seem to suggest.

Its original gold markers, hands, dress it up more than an all-steel Oyster Perpetual.

In constitution similar to a Datejust model except without the date display and with a slightly smaller diameter - 34mm instead of 36mm - the Oyster Perpetual clearly demonstrates the qualities associated with Rolex watches: precision, reliability, durability, and class.

Its no date dial and understated case give it a really pleasing and clean classic style. It is powered by the renowned Caliber 1030 officially certified chronometer movement with "butterfly rotor."

We purchased an impressive collection of sixteen special Pateks and Rolexes including this one from a doctor who was a collector's collector - a gentleman with tremendous knowledge, discerning taste, and a disciplined eye for detail. Each watch has an original buckle and many have original boxes.

We were fortunate to acquire it in such pleasing original condition with fully Rolex parts. The untouched tropical dial gives it a very pleasing vintage look.

It is fully original down to the dial, hands, and winding crown. Its case presents very nicely on the wrist.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new crocodile strap and it has a Rolex buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
