1960's Piaget Vintage Mens Midsize Unisex Watch with Award Winning 9P Movement - 18K White Gold

Piaget

Item No. 6670

Today's offering showcases this exclusive mens midsize Piaget watch crafted from 18K white gold. Built when Piaget was still a family owned and run company creating only a relatively small number of high grade watches, it is both luxurious and very fine.

Its distinctive look closely resembles a Cartier Tank - it has the same length and width dimensions as the mens Tank from the era, and similar white Roman dial and cabochon sapphire style crown. It has two big advantages over a Cartier Tank - it's movement is far finer, in an entirely different category of high grade, and both is movement and case are much thinner.

Built from solid 18K white gold, the slim case not only possesses elegance and class, it also serves as a fitting housing for one of the thinnest movements ever made, Piaget's award-winning 9P series high grade movement.

Its renowned movement, one of the world's first ultra-thin wristwatch movement, it measures a mere 2.15mm thick - less than the thickness of a US half-dollar! Despite its small size, it sacrifices nothing in performance, having earned a reputation as one of the most refined and reliable mechanisms on the supreme level of fine watchmaking.

It presents beautifully on the wrist. Its case is scratch-free. Its dial is original and mint.

Our watchmaker has fully disassembled the watch down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it. For the finishing touch we have installed a new genuine Teju lizard strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
