1960's Ulysse Nardin Vintage Mens "Datejust" 36mm Automatic Calatrava Stainless Steel Watch

Ulysse Nardin

Item No. 7822

Today's offering showcases this handsome and full size mens automatic Ulysse Nardin "Datejust" watch. It has a very classic waterproof style case that closely resembles that of a Rolex Datejust, royal blue dial, and original UN bracelet.

Measuring 36mm in diameter by 44mm long, it is the same size as a Rolex Datejust. We've fallen in love with its classic style and full size.

Powering it is its original 21 jewel automatic UN movement with a semi-quick-setting date.

It is fully Ulysse Nardin down to the original screwed down crown like a Rolex and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. Its case and bracelet both present as mint.

Its regal dial, which showcases handsome baton markers, has been meticulously refinished - the printing could pass as UN factory done to the naked eye.

The photos couldn't do the watch justice.

As part of the restoration, the movement has been freshly overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is running very strong and true, keeping time nearly on par with a new UN chronometer.

For the finishing touch we have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A more than half century old Ulysse Nardin that presents like new on the wrist!

Ulysse Nardin:
Ulysse Nardin is best known by many collectors for creating chronometers, extremely accurate time keeping instruments. Their marine chronometer was used by ship's captains to plot and follow the correct course while at sea. By employing sextants and chronometers, a captain could track the changes in his course over time and determine the exact location of his ship, and Nardin's marine chronometers were among the most reliable and sought after.
