Although most Oyster Perpetual watches are encased entirely in solid gold cases, steel, or steel and solid gold cases, the so-called "Tropical or Hypoallergenic" examples feature a gold shell top with original stainless steel back making it is more rugged and durable, especially when worn in warm or wet climates. And it gives the watch the look of being solid gold.

The watch is original and in very pleasing condition. The dial is and just short of mint. Our watchmaker has just freshly cleaned and oiled the movement.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
