1966 Jaeger-LeCoultre / Vacheron & Constantin Vintage Galaxy Mystery Dial - 14K White Gold & Diamonds

Jaeger-LeCoultre

Item No. 6603

When it comes to aesthetics, for some collectors topping the chart of the Jaeger-LeCoultre's special vintage wristwatches is the exquisite LeCoultre/Vacheron & Constantin Galaxy Mystery Dial. Named after the way the hour marker mysteriously floats around the dial, seemingly unattached to the rest of the watch yet keeping perfect time, these exceptional wristwatches captivate the imagination.

Adding to its collector rarity, the Galaxy is the only watch in the world signed outwardly by both LeCoultre and Vacheron & Constantin (Vacheron & Constantin and Jeager-LeCoultre shared the same distributorship in the U.S.).

Today's offering showcases this fine Mysterieuse that presents in beautiful restored condition. The case is in excellent condition, and the dial has been expertly restored.

Our watchmaker has freshly disassembled its very find handwound movement down to the last screw and cleaned and oiled the movement. It is quite pristine and keeping time.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new Teju lizard strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
