1968 Omega Seamaster (600) Geneve Vintage Mens Handwound Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 5247

Today's offering showcases this very cool vintage Seamaster Geneve ref. 135.011 mens watch. This reference is interesting in that it was branded as a Seamaster 600, as a Geneve, and double signed as a Seamaster Geneve. Most were sold under the Seamaster 600 moniker - Geneve examples are seen much less often, and the rarest are the double signed versions like this one.

It measures at approximately 34mm in diameter without the crown, the size of a Rolex Date watch and two millimeters smaller than a Rolex Datejust.

The watch is 100% Omega down to the dial, hands, and winding crown and is in gorgeous original condition. The original and untouched dial is mint. The case also is mint with only light signs of polishing.

The caliber 601 movement has just been fully serviced. It is quite pristine and running very true. For the finishing touch a new leather strap has been installed.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.

The Seamaster:
Omega is perhaps best known by watch connoisseurs for its Seamaster line of dive watches. Introduced in 1948, they have been were embraced by water sports enthusiasts and often marry a striking look with a high performance movement.
