Omega

Item No. 9630

Today's offering showcases this gorgeously restored example of one of Omega's classic retro vintage gent's watches.

Living up to its name as one of the sophisticated "De Ville" models, it features a classic tonneau case, striking Harley-Davidson or tangerine orange dial, and very fine automatic Omega movement.

Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 565 engine used in Seamasters from the era, and one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs, and the top tier offering of the 500 series. It has 24 jewels and a quick-setting date and is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.

It measures 34mm without the crown - the same size as a mens Rolex Date watch - and has a quick-setting date.

It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition - a 9.7 out of 10. Our photos couldn't do it justice.

Its case presents as mint with only light signs of having ever been polished and light remnants of wear underneath the lugs. On the wrist it presents as gorgeous mint with crisp lug facets.

Its original Omega dial has been meticulously custom refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration the movement has just been fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker. It is very strong and true, keeping time on par with a brand new Omega watches in our testing recording position.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new leather strap with aftermarket Omega style logo has been installed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.
