1970 Omega Geneve Vintage Mens Waterproof Style Dress Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 7691

The wristwatch showcased in today's offering is a classic example of one of Omega's vintage gent's Geneve watches.

Beginning in 1953 Omega placed the name Geneve on the dials of some of the members of the 30mm collection which at the time were produced in the company's workshops in Geneve (to put Geneve on a dial of a watch certain components and processes must take place in Geneve). According to Omega the name referred to to the Genevan Observatory where the early 30mm calibers set a number of records.

It features a classic, waterproof style tonneau case, timeless silver dial with baguette markers, and a high grade hand-wound Omega movement originally adjusted to two positions.

It is fully Omega down to the dial, hands, crown - it is all original and presents in gorgeous condition. Our photos couldn't do it justice.

The case is just short of perfect mint. The underside of the lugs have slight remnants of wear. On the wrist it presents as perfect mint.

The untouched original dial is just short of perfect mint.

A Master Watchmaker has just overhauled the movement. It is clean and keeping very accurate time. Photos of the inside available upon request.

For the finishing touch it has been equipped with a brand new leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
