1972 Omega Seamaster Chronometer Vintage Mens Cal. 1011 Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 6585

Today's offering showcases this quite uncommon and collectable all-original Seamaster Chronometer in pleasing condition.

Seamaster Chronometers made post 1952 are one of Omega's seldom seen vintage watches. They featured all of the rugged spottiness of the Seamaster line coupled with an officially certified chronometer movement.

After their release and after Omega divided the line into two models in 1952, the "plain" Seamaster, a sport watch without chronometer certification, and the Constellation, the higher-end chromometer option, Omega only made a relatively few Seamaster Chronometers.

It measures 35mm in diameter without the crown, in between the size of a Rolex Date and a Rolex Datejust.

We were fortunate to acquire it in all-original down to the untouched dial, hands, winding crown, bracelet, and even gasket!

It is in beautiful condition. Its full size case is in just short of mint condition. Its untouched original dial is mint. And its original full length "Beads of Rice" bracelet presents as just short of mint with light signs of polishing.

Powering the watch is its original and uncommon caliber 1011 officially certified chronometer movement, which is clean.

One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it and installed a brand new genuine Omega crystal. We have also meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year international warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.

A very fine watch with truly impressive capabilities.
