1973 Omega De Ville Vintage Mens Automatic Full Size Ellipse Watch - 18K Gold Plated & Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 9499

Today's offering showcases this handsome example of one of Omega's classic vintage gent's watches that presents in gorgeous restored condition.

Living up to its name as one of the elegant and sophisticated "De Ville" models, it has an elegant 18K gold-plated ellipse case, complimentary champagne dial, and automatic caliber 1012 movement used in Seamasters from the era.

Its "tropical" or "hypoallergenic" gold top with steel back construction gives the watch the look of a solid gold Omega for a fraction of the price.

The case is wonderfully full size for the style - it measures 32mm without the crown by 40mm long.

It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration.

Its case presents as mint. Its Omega dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye. And its movement is very clean.

As part of the restoration, a Master Watchmaker has overhauled the movement. Photos of the inside available upon request.

It is running extremely strong and very true, keeping time essentially on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.

For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new calfskin leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A half century old Omega that presents like new on the wrist!
