1973 Omega De Ville Vintage Mens Full Size Automatic Watch with Date - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 7455

Today's offering showcases this gorgeously restored example of one of Omega's classic vintage gent's watches. It is full size, measuring 35mm in diameter - in between the size of a Rolex Date and a Rolex Datejust - and has a quick-setting date.

Living up to its name as one of the elegant and sophisticated "De Ville" models, it has a classic case and regal blue dial.

Note the dial came out looking a bit off-tone in the photos - it is a beautiful true royal blue.

It has a monococque - or one-piece - Omega case, which when new achieved high water resistance ratings by not having a separate case back.

Powering it is Omega's automatic caliber 1012 engine found in Seamasters and other models from the era. It has 23 jewels, seven more than most Omega's from the era.

It is fully Omega down to the original hands and winding crown and has just finished a true expertly done restoration.

The case presents as mint with only slight signs of having been polished. The dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration a Master Watchmaker has freshly fully overhauled the movement. We have timed it in five chronometer positions. For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

A four decade old Omega that presents like new on the wrist!
