1973 Omega Geneve Vintage Midsize Unisex Handwound Ultra Slim Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 6608

Today's offering showcases this gorgeously restored example of one of Omega's classic vintage midsize ultra slim watches.

It has an elegant ellipse case, distinctive royal blue raised pattery dial dial, and fine ultra-thin original handwound Omega caliber 625 movement.

It is a unisex size, well suited for someone with smaller wrists.

It is fully Omega down to the dial, hands, winding crown, and even original Omega buckle! It presents in true expertly restored condition. The case top would originally have been gold plated, although they also made these watches in an all steel version that looked like this watch.

The original dial has been meticulously refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

Its ultra-slim Omega movement is keeping time.

As part of the restoration a Master Watchmaker has freshly serviced the movement. For the finishing touch it has been have equipped with a brand new aftermarket leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.

A four and a half decade old Omega that presents like new!

Omega Geneve line:
Sought after by collectors, worn on the wrists of celebrities Cindy Crawford and Nicole Kidman, and any woman desiring to wear a world-class watch, Omega's timepieces rank among the fine luxury watch brands in the world.

Beginning in 1953 Omega placed the name Geneve on the dials of some of the members of the 30mm collection which at the time were produced in the company's workshops in Geneve (to put Geneve on a dial of a watch certain components and processes must take place in Geneve) and later expanded the line of watches featuring the name. According to Omega the name referred to to the Genevan Observatory where the early 30mm calibers set a number of records.
