1975 Omega Geneve Vintage Mens Automatic Day Date Bracelet Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 10481

Today's offering showcases this retro styled example of one of Omega's classic vintage Geneve double quick-setting watches in beautiful restored condition.

It has a classic retro Omega with tonneau case, strong black dial, integrated bracelet, day and date functions and caliber 1022 automatic movement.

Here are some of its features:

* Pioneering "double quick-set" day and date features - Omega created the caliber 1020 and 1022 movements with a double quick-set capability for convenient setting of the day and date. Though many connoisseurs associate the idea of the double quick-set watch with Rolex, which first offered the President model with this "new" feature in late 1990, Omega was a pioneer of the technology in large scale production watches, evidenced by this example made about a decade before.

* Full size retro case - Its diameter is 35.5mm, essentially the same size as a Rolex Datejust

* Strong black dial - the original dial has previously had an expertly done restoration.

* Caliber 1022 movement. Fast beat (28,800 bph) balance system for greater accuracy and the higher jeweled version caliber - it has 23 jewels instead of 17

* Uncommon Omega ref. 1286.249.1 bracelet - This bracelet has an interesting design and is very seldom seen.

It has fully Omega parts down to even its original Omega waterproofing seal!

It has previously had a true expertly done restoration and presents in gorgeous condition - it presents as a 9.4 out of 10. On the wrist it presents in gorgeous condition.

Its case presents as just short of perfect mint with light remnants of wear to the back.

Its original Omega dial has previously been meticulously custom refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

And its long, seldom seen Omega bracelet presents as just short of perfect mint.

Three of our Master Watchmakers pour countless hours for the last 10 years into restoring the movement of this watch to breathe new life into it for many years. The final servicing was performed by our Master Watchmaker who used to be the watchmaker for an authorized Rolex dealership and was given training by Rolex at their Beverly Hills Service Center (restoration value $2,395 - our loss is your gain).

It is running strong and true, keeping time essentially on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.

Your watch is important to us, and we will take care of it for its lifetime. We provide the best after sale care in the business with an extremely experienced team of four Master Watchmakers all of whom each have over thirty-five years of experience and a large number of parts.
