1975 Omega Seamaster Vintage Retro Mens Watch with Emerald Green Dial - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 7936

Today's offering showcases this classic retro vintage Omega Seamaster which presents in gorgeous restored condition with original dial very cool custom refinished in emerald green.

Our photos couldn't do it justice - the dial is rich and deep with a great tone. It really catches the light and changes lightness depending on the angle of the light.

Its has an uncommon and distinctive eight-sided case and is full size with a 35mm diameter, in between the sizes of a Rolex Date and a Datejust.

Powering the watch is Omega's caliber 1022 movement with pioneering so-called "double quick-set" day and date features. Omega created the 1022 with a double quick-set capability for convenient setting of the day and date. Though many connoisseurs associate the idea of the double quick-set watch with Rolex, which first offered the President model with this "new" feature in late 1990, Omega was a pioneer of the technology in large scale production watches.

It has a faster beat (28,800 bph) balance system for greater accuracy, and the 1022 was the top-tier offering of the 1000 series, with the higher 23 jewel count.

The watch has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents as about a 9.7 or better out of 10 condition - on the wrist it looks like new.

The case presents as just short of perfect mint - the underside has the slightest remnants of wear. On the wrist it presents as gorgeous mint. The dial has been meticulously custom refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration the movement has just been overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is near pristine and is keeping time nearly on par with a new Omega in our testing position.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new calfskin strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.

A four and a half decade old Omega that looks like new on the wrist!
