1978 Omega Constellation Mens Vey Rare & Cool Vintage Accuset Watch - 18K Gold & Diamonds

Omega

Item No. 8896

Omega's flagship line for decades, the Constellation represents style, luxury, attention to detail, robust function, and most all, superior precision. Elegant and stately, it is suitable for both casual and professional dress.

The wristwatch showcased in today's offering is a classic and very rare example of a later vintage quartz Constellation.

While we are not suggesting it is one-of-a-kind, our research could not turn up a single other example in 18K gold (as for gold examples we could only find one, which was in 9K) nor another example with a diamond dial.

It is very rare and cool...even among seasoned Omega collectors, you'll be the only person you know with one of these.

It has an unusual somewhat midsized case with angled facets, wonderful gray dial factory set by Omega with near-perfect diamonds, and high-grade and Omega quartz caliber 1330 movement with stepper motor for precise electronic setting of the time.

It is fully Omega and presents in gorgeous original condition down to its original Omega buckle.

Its case presents as mint. Its original dial presents as just short of mint with light aging and ghosting of the signature.

One of our Master Watchmakers has fully serviced it and worked hard to bring it back to life. When we purchased it its slightly uncommon Omega movement was not working. Now it is working perfectly and has a new battery. Photos of the inside available upon request.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new Teju lizard strap and the watch's original buckle and have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.

The page for the more common steel version of the watch on the Omega website can be found here.

A rare four and half decade old Omega that presents beautifully on the wrist!
