Essentially a Datejust with a slightly smaller diameter (34mm instead of the Datejust's 36mm) it features clean lines and a sharp look.

As precise as it is classic, the watch is powered by the same automatic Rolex cal. 3035 mechanism that powered several of the desirable transitional sports models, like the Submariner and triple six Sea-Dweller models.

A superior mechanism that was Rolex's first high-beat movement to beat 28,800 times per hour, it offers a level of engineering and craftsmanship that is exceptional. This new movement allowed for even greater levels of accuracy as it ticked eight times per second.

The movement also had another innovative feature for a Rolex - a date that could be quickset. This allowed the wearer to change the date on their watch simply by pulling out the winding crown to the second position and turning counter clockwise, only needing one and a half rotations to advance each day. It did away with the tedious process of having to wind the hour hand through a full 24-hour cycle for every day the wearer wanted to advance it.
