Today's offering showcases this prime example of a classic steel and 18K gold pre-Bond Seamaster 200m dive watch. These Seamasters were the pre-cursors to what are recognized as the James Bond watches.
It has a a unidirectional diver's bezel and quartz movement with quick-setting hour for easy switching of times zones.
Unlike most 200's which were all steel, this less common version is two-tone steel and gold, the upmarket version of the watch. Its 18K gold bezel and dial accents looks quite a bit dressier. It has just the right balance to give it a wide range of versatility - it can easily be worn casually or with business dress.
It is a cool watches with a great look. And this uncommon example presents gorgeously.
It has all of its original parts, and it has just finished a true expertly done sympathetic restoration. On the wrist it presents in gorgeous condition - our photos couldn't do it justice.
The bezel insert is original and in excellent condition with fairly mild wear. The rest of the case presents as mint. The bracelet, which has a gold insert on the clasp, shows fairly mild stretch. Its finish presents as mint.
The dial has been meticulously sympathetically restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
A Master Watchmaker has performed any needed servicing making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
