Breitling Windrider Chrono Sextant Mens Chronograph Watch, Stainless Steel & 18K Gold - B55045

Breitling

Item No. 9083

Today's offering showcases this superior Certified Pre-Owned Windrider Chrono Sextant watch. Produced in fairly small quantities for a few years in the mid-1990's and ceasing production in 1997, it is very cool and examples in beautiful condition don't often come up for sale.

In many ways it looks like a traditional Breitling chronograph - like most, it showcases sophisticated lines, unique rider tab style bezel, and an attention to detail in both the aesthetic and technical realm. It is "an instrument for professionals."

However, besides being uncommon, the Chrono Sextant possesses two other unusual features. First, it measures a little over 36mm in diameter, making it perfect for those with less sizable wrists and 10% - 20% (or more) smaller than many other Breitling chronos.

Secondly, it features a Frederic Piguet designed electromechanical movement that combines a quartz watch movement with a mechanical chronograph module. This special marriage gives the watch the unrivaled accuracy of quartz timekeeping with the elegance of a mechanical chronograph. As a mechanical chronograph, it has the ability to measure events in 1/5 of a second increments using only the sweep hand and doesn't need an additional subdial.

It has all-original parts and presents in gorgeous condition - a 9.5 out of 10. Our photos couldn't do it justice.

Its case presents as mint with slight signs of previous polishing. Its original white dial with gold accents is in untouched mint condition.

A Master Watchmaker has performed any need servicing. For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new navy blue leather strap and meticulously detailed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

We also stock lizard and a variety of others straps in various prints, skins, and colors. Please ask us if you're interested.

Included with the purchase is a new one-year international warranty on the movement and its function and a Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.
