Today's offering showcases this rare, classic, and so cool ladies Heuer "Submariner" divers watch. It features a screw down crown, ratcheting bezel, and automatic movement. It has everything that you get with one of the big divers but in miniature. It was even originally waterproof to 660 feet. And it actually retailed for more than its mens counterpart, the 844!
It is the very first serial production diver from Heuer along with the mens French made ref. 844. The two models made the cover of Heuers 1979 catalog.
More recently, it has come be known as the "Bo Derek" model, so named because of a photo that Ms. Derek's father sent Jack Heuer of his daughter wearing the watch and the story behind the photo.
It is in beautiful all original condition.
A Master Watchmaker has just freshly serviced its original automatic movement which is running true. Its bezel still ratchets very crisply.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
A unique object that will enhance the collection of the vintage high-end watch enthusiast of either gender (or perhaps entice a Heuer collector's wife into the delightful world of vintage Heuer).
