Patek Philippe Calatrava Mens Ultra Thin Watch, Ref. 3744 - 18K Gold with Hobnail Bezel

Patek Philippe

Item No. 8808SH

Today's offering showcases this handsome Certified Pre-Owned example of one of the company's Calatrava watches with handsome “Clous de Paris” guilloche bezel.

It is in gorgeous original condition down to its original PP band and 18K gold PP buckle.

Patek launched what became their most famous line, the Calatrava, in 1932. This ref. 3744 Calatrava has an elegant case graced by double row hobnail bezel and timelessly classic white Roman dial. It has sleek lines and subtle elegance, expressing artistic originality at its very finest.

As Patek Philippe aptly describes, "These inimitably elegant men's watches are impervious to short-lived trends, recapturing the hearts of each new generation."

This 3744 is a quite uncommon Calatrava that is powered by Patek's E27 quartz movement that never needs to be wound. As you would expect from Patek, the quartz movement is very high grade for quartz and even adjusted.

It is accompanied by a copy of the original sales receipt that shows the Henry Stern Agency (Patek's longtime US agent) traded this watch as an even trade for the clients automatic Calatrava.

Also included is a servicing receipt from Patek dated in 2017.

It is all original and presents in beautiful condition. Its case presents as mint and shows only light signs of previous polishing (presumably by Patek during their servicing). We have not polished the watch. Its dial is like new.

The battery was replaced in March 2022.

For the finishing touch we have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity
