They have a great look and Submariner style case with rotating elapsed time bezel, crown guards, and screwed down crown and were originally waterproof to 200 meters.

The 1000 appeared as a result of some experimentation with diving watches that the company was doing in the 1970s, and the design borrowed heavily from the Rolex Submariner (but Heuer used a Jubilee style bracelet) which was a good seller at the time for Rolex, though nothing like its iconic status today.

It presents in gorgeous condition - about a 9.7 out of 10. The case is just short of mint. On the wrist it presents as gorgeous mint. The dial presents as mint - the luminous glows. And the original mineral glass presents as mint. The original crown still screws down well.
