1950 Audemars Piguet "Batman" Lugs Vintage Mens Midsize Dress Watch - 18K Gold

Audemars Piguet

Item No. 7245

Today's offering showcases this rare and dramatic mid-century Audemars Piguet mens dress watch.

Featuring an avant garde case with impressive "Batman" lugs and a classic dial (face), it possesses uniqueness, elegance, and class. Equipped with an extremely high-grade, original Audemars Piguet movement designed to maintain very accurate timekeeping even across a wide range of temperatures, positions, and even amounts of power left, it showcases top-tier Swiss watchmaking.

As a mens midsize, it is the size of many of AP's dress watches from this era. It is well-suited for someone who doesn't have a large wrist and could be worn by a woman wanting a full size watch. Its parts are all original down to all hands and the crown.

Its case is near mint plus. Its dial is bright and clean, a well-done vintage refinishing.

One of our watchmakers has just disassembled the watch down to its last screw and serviced it. It is clean and keeping time.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a new Teju lizard strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Like always included with the purchase is a one-year international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
