1973 Audemars Piguet Vintage Mens Thin Dress Bracelet Watch - 18K White Gold & Diamonds

Audemars Piguet

Item No. 8941

Today's offering showcases this handsome and classic 18K white gold Audemars Piguet mens dress watch that presents in gorgeous condition.

Featuring an elegant case with full diamond bezel and a classic dial (face), it possesses timeless elegance and class. The bezel has previously been aftermarket set by a jeweler with brilliant diamonds.

And equipped with an extremely fine, original Audemars Piguet movement, it showcases top tier Swiss watchmaking. It has the same look as the ultra thin dress watches but without the cal. 2003 movement - this one is slightly thicker and higher grade.

Like only the very finest watches in the world - select watches from the likes of Patek, AP, and V & C, it is adjusted to five positions, heat, cold, and even isochronism. Isochronism is the amount of wind left in the movement. Most watches slow down slightly as their power reserve moves toward empty. That is not the case with this watch. And like Pateks from the era and following it has a free-sprung balance with gold Microstella screws on the balance for regulating it rather than a traditional regulator - it is extremely high-grade.

It measures just over 34mm in diameter without the crown, just slightly larger than the diameter of a mens Rolex Date model.

It presents in gorgeous condition - like new on the wrist. The case is mint with a crisp original 18K hallmark. The silver dial has been meticulously refinished - the printing could pass as Audemars Piguet factory done even under magnification.

The bracelet, though signed Audemars Piguet and stamped 18K, appears to be an aftermarket addition done most likely in sterling silver. It presents as mint.

A Master Watchmaker has just fully disassembled the movement down to its last screw and freshly serviced it. It is very clean and keeping very accurate time. Please inquire if you would like to see photos of the inside.

For the finishing touch we have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
