Cartier created the Santos in honor of the famous Brazilian aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont. Alberto Santos-Dumont, a true daring aviation pioneer, flew in France and Europe in some of the first prototype airplanes.

One of the classic versions of the Santos is the Santos Vendome. The beautiful Certified Pre-Owned Santos showcased here is the largest version of the Vendome, though it is not a large watch. It measures 32mm wide and the crown add a couple more millimeters.

Originally a mens watch, it could also easily be worn by a woman looking for a full size Cartier.

It features a stainless steel case with solid 18K bezel, classic white Roman dial with blue steel "epee" hands, Cartier Santos bracelet, sapphire topped crown, and quartz movement.

Of the various case material selections, the two-tone Santos Vendome is especially versatile and suited for both casual and dress attire.
