Today's offering showcases this superior automatic IWC with classic '60's style.
Powering the watch is a cal. 854 movement, part of the caliber 85 family of movements designed by Albert Pellaton and that feature his renowned winding system. This mechanism's automatic winding system is a technical masterpiece, earning it high praise - Gisbert Brunner and Christian Pfeiffer-Belli in their work, Wristwatches Armbanduhren Montres-bracelets, proclaimed it "one of the best automatic movements ever built in Switzerland."
The company built this watch in 19?67 at the same they were building their famous Ingenieur line which also had watches that utilized the caliber 854.
It is fully IWC down to the signed crown. It had just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous restored condition - as just short of mint on the wrist.
It has been freshly overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. For the finishing touch it has been equipped it with a brand new leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
An five decade old IWC that looks nearly like new on the wrist!
