1947 Jaeger-LeCoultre Vintage Mens Midsize Watch, Beautiful Case - 14K Gold

Jaeger-LeCoultre

Item No. 9138

Long ago Jaeger-LeCoultre built their reputation as masters of watch design.

This commitment to stylistic excellence produced a number of exquisitely sculpted watches (like the Reverso), and the company's tradition for beautiful design continued to show-up in certain models of their later American market watches like this knot lug watch, one of our favorite vintage LeCoultre dress watch designs.

The knot lug LeCoultre showcased in today's offering exhibits the style and precision one expects from the 'Grande Maison'.

It presents in beautiful condition down to its signed winding crown. With the exception of the blued steel hands, the rest of watch is fully JLC.

Its sculpted solid 14K gold case presents as better than near mint with only very light wear. The case body has not been recently polished.

Its dial has been restored by one of the leading restoration experts in North America. And its high-grade movement is quite clean. Please inquire if you would like photos of the inside. It is keeping extremely accurate time.

Our team of three Master Watchmakers and a Master Dial Specialist spent months restoring this special watch to breathe new life into it (restoration value $1295).

For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a full-page custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
