Today's offering showcases this very cool and uncommon Longines Five Star Admiral diver's watch. It has an awesome divers design with a bezel that has ghosted over time.
Full size, it measures 37mm in diameter without the crown, and its chunky case and bi-directional divers bezel make it wear larger than its dimensions. Its luminous dial has a classic design.
Powering the watch is a Longines caliber 501 automatic movement that is underappreciated for its quality. It also comes equipped with its original JB Champion for Longines bracelet date stamped 1969.
It has all of its original parts and presents in beautiful condition. Our photos couldn't do it justice.
The case presents as just short of mint. The back shows fairly mild signs of previous polishing and the bezel insert has slight wear. As we mentioned, the numbers have wonderfully "ghosted" giving it a monochromatic look that we really love.
Its dial presents as mint. And its original Longines brick link bracelet, which has fairly mild stretch, presents as just short of mint.
It has just been freshly fully overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is running extremely strong and true, keeping time like a new Longines in our testing recording position.
Included with the purchase is a full one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
An uncommon and classic Longines with a rugged look that looks nearly like new on the wrist!
