1956 Omega Seamaster Mens Vintage Automatic Mid-Century Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 10255

Today's offering showcases this classic and beautifully restored c. 1956 Omega Seamaster.

Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 501 movement with 20 jewels (instead of the more common seventeen jewel versions), one of the first esteemed 500's series movements.

It has swan's neck fine regulation and is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era. It measures 34mm in diameter without the crown, the same size as a Rolex Date model.

Its case shape is our favorite Omega style from the era and its black dial is done a wonderful so-called "Explorer" configuration with numerals for the primary hours.

It has original parts and has just finished an true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition - a 9.7 out of 10.

While many of these watches have seen a good bit of polishing, this one has not. Its case is stunning - mint condition. The back shows hardly any signs of previous polishing.

Its strong black dial has just been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration, the movement has been overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It is running very strong and true, keeping time essentially on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position. Photos of the inside available upon request.

For the finishing touch, we have equipped it with a brand new leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.

A high-grade classic Seamaster that presents beautifully on the wrist.
