Unlike most Seamasters from the era which were automatic, this uncommon reference was powered by Omega's caliber 601 handwound movement originally adjusted to two positions. The thinner movement allows for a thinner case than with automatic Seamasters.

It has a monocoque - or one piece - case which insured water resistance and its handwound movement insured that it had a slimmer, more elegant profile than its automatic siblings. The case, when new, achieved high water resistance ratings by not having a separate case back.

Its desirable crosshair dial with wonderful retro styled indices at the primary hours has 1/5 second markers for precision timing for technical, sporting, and professional uses.

It measures at approximately 35mm in diameter without the crown, in between the sizes of a Rolex Date and a Rolex Datejust.

It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition.

Its case presents as mint. The bezel has a high polish finish, and the original stamping on the back is very clean. Its "crosshair" dial has been meticulously restored - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

One of our Master Watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it. It is running very strong and true, keeping time essentially on par with a new Omega in our testing position.

For the finishing touch a new leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle has been installed making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. international warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
