1961 Omega Seamaster Vintage Mens Handwound Watch - 18K Gold Plated & Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 5046

Today's offering showcases this very cool vintage Seamaster mens watch. Besides being handwound, a less common trait for a Seamaster, this Seamaster also features a slightly thinner case than automatic Seamasters.

It measures 33.5mm in diameter without the crown, about the size of a Rolex Date watch (just over two millimeters smaller than a Rolex Datejust.)

It has been restored as part of a true expert restoration and presents as very pleasing condition. The dial has been expertly refinished and could pass as Omega factory done even under light magnification.

The caliber 600 movement is adjusted to two positions. As part of the restoration it has been freshly fully serviced by a Master Watchamker and is running very true.

For the finishing touch we have installed a new leather strap.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.

The Seamaster:

Omega is perhaps best known by watch connoisseurs for its Seamaster line of dive watches. Introduced in 1948, they have been were embraced by water sports enthusiasts and often marry a striking look with a high performance movement.
