1962 Omega Seamaster Vintage Mens Automatic Caliber 552 Watch - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 5902

Today's offering showcases this classic original steel Omega Seamaster. It is fully Omega down to the dial, hands, and signed winding crown.

Powering the watch is Omega's top tier caliber 552 with 24 jewels (seven more than in many similar Omega's), one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. Omega's 500 series was one of the finest mass produced automatics from the era, and watches that feature these are excellent buys today because of their quality and relative ease and reasonable cost for servicing.

Its classic silver dial is original and in very good condition. Its case presents very nicely. And its high-grade movement with fine swan's neck regulation is keeping very accurate time.

Its movement has been freshly cleaned and oiled. For the finishing touch we installed a new genuine Teju lizard strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.

Omega Seamaster:
When the Seamaster was first introduced in the 1948 they were embraced by water sports enthusiasts. They marry a striking look with a high performance movement.

Omega watches can be found on the wrists of many prominent figures including Pierce Brosnan, Michael Schumacher, Michael Phelps, Ernie Els, and Prince William, and one graced the wrist of President John F. Kennedy. Omega has been the official timekeeper for 21 Olympic Games and is the official chronometer of NASA.
