Its case has a striking retro design. The case is an unusual and uncommon Cosmic design with lugs that appear as facets of the case. It's a cool look. Its monococque - or one-piece - case originally achieved high water resistance ratings by not having a separate case back.

Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 552 movement with 24 jewels (instead of the more common seventeen jewel versions), one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs. It has 24 jewels and is one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.

It measures 34mm in diameter without the crown, the same size as a Rolex Date model.

It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. Its case presents as beautiful mint with all of its stamping strongly intact.

Its Omega dial has just been meticulously refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration, the movement has been freshly overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It continues to run very strong and true, keeping time on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.

For the finishing touch, it has been equipped it with a brand new calfskin leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
