Its case has a striking retro design. The case is an unusual and uncommon Cosmic design with lugs that appear as facets of the case. And its dial has retro "wide boy" indices. It's a cool look.

Its monococque - or one-piece - case originally achieved high water resistance ratings by not having a separate case back.

Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 565 movement used in Seamasters from the era, and one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs It was the highest offering of the 500 series. It has 24 jewels and a quick-setting date and was one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from era.

It measures 34mm in diameter without the crown, the same size as a Rolex Date model.

It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. Its case presents as mint with all of its stamping strongly intact. Our photos couldn't do it justice.

Its Omega dial has just been meticulously refinished.

As part of the restoration, its movement has been freshly overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It continues to run very strong and true, keeping time essentially on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to the watch's performance.

For the finishing touch, it has been equipped it with a brand new leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
