It is a full size watch - it measures 36mm in diameter, the same size as a Rolex Datejust.
Featuring an officially certified automatic chronometer movement with quick-set date and a robust stainless steel case with screwed in back for extra water-resistance, this late 60's - early 70's era Omega demonstrates why the Constellation was the company's flagship line.
Powered by the company's caliber 1001 chronometer engine, it united performance with presentation.
It has all of its original parts and has just finished a true expertly done restoration. It presents in gorgeous condition, a 9.5 out of 10.
Its case presents as mint with the slightest remnants of wear to the underside and a couple tiny pin pricks on the bezel. It has perfect high polish facets.
Its original Omega dial has been meticulously custom refinished in Tiffany & Co. robin's egg blue color - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
Its bracelet has only fairly mild stretch. Its finish presents as mint - on the wrist it presents as mint.
One of our Master Watchmakers, who used to be the watchmaker for an authorized Rolex dealer and was given special training by Rolex at their Beverly Hills Service Center to be an authorized Rolex watchmaker, has fully serviced the watch which consists of fully disassembling the movement, carefully inspecting each part, replacing any overly worn components with genuine Omega parts including a installing a new correct mainspring, winding pinion, and set lever, reassembling and lubricating the movement, and extensive timing testing and regulation (a $995 value).
It is running very strong and true, keeping time essentially on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.
For the finishing touch we have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
