Today's offering showcases this impeccably restored example of one of Omega's ultra-thin automatic vintage watches. Living up to its name as one of the sophisticated "DeVille" models, it features a classic tonneau case, royal blue dial, and very fine automatic Omega movement.
While many non-round watches from the period were fitted with handwound movements, this model has Omega's automatic 24 jewel ultra-thin caliber 711 movement so it still maintains a thin profile.
It is fully Omega down to the dial, hands, winding crown, and even the original crystal! It presents in true expertly restored condition - a 9.8 or 9.9 out of 10. The dial has been meticulously refinished. The printing is perfect - it could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
Note that the dial came out looking just a little brighter under the photography lights than it does in person.
Our watchmaker has freshly cleaned and oiled the movement. It is keeping quite accurate time. Photos of the inside available upon request.
For the finishing touch it has been equipped with a new leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
A four and a half decade old Omega that presents almost like new!
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
