Today's offering showcases this gorgeous restored example of one of Omega's classic vintage Geneve watches.
Powering the watch is Omega's top-tier caliber 552 movement used in Seamasters from the era, and one of the last superior 500's series movements used before Omega began trying to reduce their costs.
It has 24 jewels and was one of the finest mass-produced automatic movements from the era.
It has a waterproof style case and strong black dial. It measures 34mm in diameter, the same size as a Rolex Date model.
All of its parts are Omega even down to the signed Omega crystal. It has just finished a true expertly done restoration and presents in gorgeous condition. We generally associate this reference with a date equipped 563/565 movement, but this watch is without a date.
Its case presents as mint. Its dial has been meticulously custom refinished. With the exception of the Geneve script, which was done in an earlier period font, the rest of the printing presents perfectly and could pass as Omega factory done.
As part of the restoration, a Master Watchmaker has freshly overhauled it. It is running very strong and true, keeping time essentially on par with a new Omega in our testing recording position.
For the finishing touch, it has been equipped with a brand new calfskin leather strap and aftermarket Omega style buckle making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.

Omega Geneve:
Worn on the wrists of celebrities Michael Schumacher, Pierce Brosnan, Michael Phelps, and Ernie Els Omega timepieces rank with Rolex and other of the world's fine Swiss firms.
Beginning in 1953 Omega placed the name Geneve on the dials of some of the members of the 30mm collection which at the time were produced in the company's workshops in Geneve (to put Geneve on a dial of a watch certain components and processes must take place in Geneve) and later expanded the line of watches featuring the name. According to Omega the name referred to to the Genevan Observatory where the early 30mm calibers set a number of records.
