Around the 1970's Omega commissioned a number of leading designers to create very retro styled watches. Most of the watches we've seen were still elegant though some pushed the envelope more than others.
Today's offering showcases this prime restored example of a 70's retro Omega dress watch.
It is an uncommon Omega model ref. 111.100. Living up to its name as one of the sophisticated "DeVille" models, it has a full size TV screen style case, royal blue linen dial, and a fine handwound Omega movement.
Powering the watch is Omega's ultra thin caliber 620 mechanism.
It is 100% original and signed down to its original hands, signed winding crown, and original Omega crystal. The original dial has been flawlessly refinished. The printing is perfect - it could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the true expert restoration our watchmaker has just freshly serviced the movement. It continues to run very true. It is a four and half decade old Omega that presents almost like new on the wrist. For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a new leather strap.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
