1970's Omega De Ville Mens Retro Dress TV Watch, Automatic - Stainless Steel

Omega

Item No. 8101

Around the 1970's Omega commissioned a number of leading designers to create very retro styled watches. Most of the watches we've seen were elegant and some pushed the design envelope.

The wristwatch featured in today's offering is a prime example of a 70's retro Omega dress watch.

Living up to its name as one of the elegant and sophisticated "DeVille" models, it features a large "widescreen" TV case, a clean white dial, and a high-grade automatic Omega movement packed inside the oblong case.

The case features an innovative design where two metals rods secure the back and hold it together to initially give it water resistance.

Although most rectangular watches from the era had handwound movements because of size constraints this watch has a small caliber 684 engine that could be fit into the special case.

It is fully Omega down to the hands, winding crown, and even signed original crystal!

It has just finished a true expertly done restoration and presents in gorgeous condition. Our photos couldn't begin to do it justice!

Its case presents as mint. Its original Omega dial has been meticulously restored - the printing looks Omega factory done to the naked eye.

As part of the restoration the movement has just been fully overhauled by a Master Watchmaker. It winds very smoothly and is keeping accurate time.

For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new calfskin leather strap making it ready for immediate enjoyment.

Included with the purchase is a one-year warranty on the movement and its function and a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity.

A four and a half decade old Omega that presents like new! Don't the miss the chance to own a special retro yet elegant vintage Omega.
