At a time when the quartz revolution was beginning to take place, this watch with automatic Cal. 10xx series movement carried on both the style and mechanical functionality of a traditional Seamaster.
This Cosmic 2000 is large for the era, measuring 38mm in diameter.
It presents in beautifully restored condition - on the wrist it looks nearly like new. The case back with its embossed Seamonster logo shows slight remnants of wear - on the wrist the case presents as perfect mint.
As part of the restoration the movement has just been fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker ($495 value). It winds extremely smoothly. We have timed it in five chronometer positions and it continues to run incredibly accurately, keeping like new chronometer grade time in four positions.
For the finishing touch we have equipped it with a brand new leather band making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate.
