Today's offering showcases this classic vintage retro Omega Seamaster Cosmic 2000 which presents in gorgeous condition. At a time when the quartz revolution was beginning to take place this watch with automatic Cal. 1010 series movement carried on both the style and mechanical functionality of a traditional Seamaster.
This is an uncommon version with interesting retro case.
This Cosmic 2000 is large for the era, measuring 39mm in diameter by a 45mm long lug tip to tip, even slightly larger than most other Cosmic 2000's. It presents in beautifully restored condition. The light logo on the back has been previously polished and is mostly gone, but on the wrist the watch looks like new.
The dial has been perfectly refinished - the printing could pass as Omega factory done to the naked eye.
As part of the restoration the movement has just been fully serviced by a Master Watchmaker. It continues to run at extremely accurate levels.
Included with the purchase is a one-year C.O.T. warranty on the movement and its function, a custom printed Connoisseur of Time Certificate of Authenticity, and a new timing certificate attesting to its performance.
A four decade old Omega that looks like new on the wrist!
